My Xindak SCD-2 (their homage to the Sony SCD-1) has been an exceptional player (after Cary 306-200 DW modded and a Simaudio Eclipse before that). I also own a Darkvoice 337 headphone amp (which is another amazing value and used tubes that don't cost one body parts This replaced a Cary 300SEI with WE 300B's). As to the internals being authentic, I'm not an EE so I have to go on faith in the company. So far, nothing but a good experience.
