I don't believe that audiophiles who buy "high-end" gear should be in your camp of typical western consumers. Those typical folks shop the discount stores for Emerson, Eton, Sound Storm, Coby, Trutech, Axion, Starlight, and other brands of unknown origin and quality.
"I have nothing against made in China. I have some good stuff from there. They are where Made in Japan was 30-40 years ago and will move forward like Japan did."
True. And exactly why one might be concerned and cautious about buying Chinese "high-end" audio today.![]()
