Such is not a China only issue, how about the corporations many US based which set up shop and they damn well know costs are cut but it's about PROFIT at any price. Or how about the dumb a$$ consumer who just wants, no EXPECTS! it all FOR CHEAP!!! CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP.
Oh those who love money regardless of where the may be are all guilty of lack of moral values and ethics it is nothing new but we can and should fight it to change minds and attitudes. But will we? Go look at your local Wal Mart parking lot or any similar competitors to see where we as society put values as noted here.
It's not just unscrupulous Chinese factories, its the often US but also other nations based corporations that lobby govt. to lower regulations, cheapen out on paying more for quality inspection and to let more of this crap to slide by. All dressed in the name of being more competitive and to give people like you and me, the typical cheap arsed consumer something at an ever cheaper price even if we don't need it nor really want it but we crack open our wallets and throw down credit cards to buy it all up just like a freaking junkie for their drug of choice!
Sorry I speak the truth and I know it hurts. We each must look in the mirror and point a figure of disgust at ourselves too.
