years ago. Two years ago, after reading about the quality of vinyl I decided to compair equally priced set ups to see which one I liked best. Vinyl easily won. Now (two years later) I have two times the records than CDs due to price and I listen to vinyl 95% of the time because it sounds much better. While CD's are now pushing $20 each, I am content spending $1 to $7 for nice minty copies of music that I like.

I think the capability to deliver superb sonics on a digital format is here today. Unfortunately the desire do produce it isn't and definately not at a price I'm willing to pay.
