Don T,

It's impossible for me to list recordings that are better in the car than at home as I think everything sounds terrible in the car. I've had a couple of fairly expensive car stereos- well, the most expensive was $1,800, ridden in cars with $5-6,000+ systems and car stereos are universally and without exception nasty and annoying, the expensive ones are just louder. I would compare the qualities of a fine car stereo to sitting in a 55 gallon drum while someone beats the outside with a sledge hammer, but at least that would have a natural timbre to it,..
