I remember being in the car in the early '70s and getting a huge kick out of just barely being able to track the "I wanna honky tonk ... honky tonk ... honky tonk .. with you all night long" line because of course back then the equipment was crap ... so we sang that part louder ... saying "do you hear it, do you hear it?" It was really cool, almost like hearing "Paul is Dead." Anyway, now it's full blown and obvious of course becasue of "digital sound" ... I miss the mystery a bit ...
