Honkin on Bobo is an excellent record BTW.
Toys and Rocks are records of music that I used to like but over time have realized it's not very good music. It's got nothing to do with how the recording sounds ( I think). Same thing with the Springsteen record listed above.
Maybe I need a crappier car stereo - one that sounds so bad that it masks the fact that I don't like the music.
And 2112 and Moving Pictures are awesome sounding records. I've been using 2112 as a demo disk for years now - and I can tell you it sounds bad on lots of equipment.
