I have had the privilege, (thanks to Horn's of Oxford), to have owned the following equipment:

1. Pye Mozart Amp.
2. Pye. Provost/Proctor Amp.
3. Goodman Axiom 80 Units in A.Davis Cabinets.
4. Philips GA 212 Turntable + Decca MK 4 Cartridge.
5. Stanley Kelly Ribbon Tweeters.
6. RCA Orthophonic Amp.

I can assure you that this equipment gave a sound far better than anything I have heard today. Unfortunately. the Axiom 80 cones were made of fibre and hence were hygroscopic and disintegrated many years ago.

I would finish by saying that all the above cost below £100. Horn's also gave me every copy of HI News from 1956-1963, saying we have read them, so rather than throw them away, we'll let you have them.
