I bought some Lucinda Williams and I like the music but the sonics aren't anything. .

to write home about. I find the mids are muffled and recessed to a degree. Like they are recorded in mono with a stereo mix. Yep, it is the mix of the Gravel Road CD. She must have been on the west coast and the band was on the east coast.
Yeah the voices are mono and on top of each other. Sonics here suck. Where are the decent audio engineers and the guys that lay down the final for pressing? Damn I get tired of wasting hard earned cash cause I enjoy a good presentation with the lyrics.
