Yeah, those are such common errors that I almost laugh at them now. I know officers of large companies and other professionals who cannot keep them straight. I can only shake my head in disbelief.

The interesting thing about language is that it changes according to the way people actually use it, so someday maybe all this nonsense will pass away and everyone will speak phoenetically in abbreviations and emoticons, sort of like walking vanity license plates. I hope that, by then, all we fuddy-duddies will have passed away, too.

Do you speak Latin, by any chance?
