and write simple sentences. I am appalled at the horrible spelling, improper punctuation, generally poor grammar, and mental laziness of so many posters. I know some foreigners post here, and they are certainly excused. Besides, they are probably more fluent in their own language than we are in ours, and they should be admired for at least attempting to communicate in our bewildering language.No one expects posts to look like they were professionally written, but some border on illiterate. I guess this is just a reflection of our piss poor education system, or North Americans' (United States citizens, specifically) general mental sloth. With very few exceptions, anyone with a basic education who really cares to do so should be able to write and spell properly.
I try to refrain from correcting others' grammar because it's impolite and doesn't ever solve the root problem, which is usually stupidity, carelessness, or indolence, plain and simple. However, please understand that if you can't even write a decent sentence and spell simple words correctly, your opinion on any matter is held in low regard. In other words, if you're so dumb or lazy that you can't write, you probably don't know anything of value about audio, either. Or much else, for that matter.
By the way, it's "whose", not "who's", and "regard", not "reguard". Welcome to the Asylum.
I also dismiss as an insufferably pretentious snob anyone who uses "whilst" instead of "while", unless they're British.
