Some folks think 'different' is 'better'.
I've had the same system for years. Call it a reference. Not a super duper high end kit, but it's mine. I can change something in it and know not only that it's different, but whether it's better or not.
If it's better, I'll consider it. If it's not, I'll keep what I have.
Changing things out all the times just leads to mis-informed decisions (as far as I'm concerned) as you have to reference or standard to hold the change up against.
