I had that exact same scenario happen a couple of weeks ago. Had a $150 gift certificate from Fry's. Walked through the store, the only thing I was interested in was a Squeezebox, which I had been wanting for some time. Now it would only cost me $150 out of pocket. Turns out to be just about my best audio purchase ever. Between Pandora and Internet radio and streaming ripped CD's in FLAC I will never run out of new music to listen to now. The sound of the Pandora stations is much better than I thought it would be, good enough for serious listening. And Internet radio above about 192kb/sec approaches CD quality.
