I did recently make the mistake of totaling up the cost of my record purchases from last year (I keep a spreadsheet) and sharing this data. I don't recommend this... My girlfriend was a bit miffed since we are saving money to eventually buy a house (years down the road). But when I bought my speakers, she helped me lug them on the subway. Yeah, she's a keeper!
