Inline filters

Audio Concepts makes these really neat inline filters. RCA female jack on one end, RCA male jack on the other with an enclosed capacitor (and maybe some other stuff with it: they call it "buffered") to be placed between preamp and amp as a high pass filter. Easy to add a subwoofer that way, since most commercial subs have their own built-in low pass filter. That's great, but they come only in two sizes: 85Hz and 65Hz. I bought a pair of the 85Hz filters and they sound pretty darned good--i.e., no obvious degradation--but I'd like to fine tune the system by trying other values. Anybody else out there making inline filters in different values? Better yet, does anybod make a "shell" such that I could stuff in whatever high quality caps I chose?
Thanks
