My wife keeps trying to dump them. I have not listened to them in 10 years. There is something organic about tapes, the time it took to make them, the coordination of the LP and the tape machine, setting peak levels, demagging and cleaning the head. Not like burning a CD in 5 minutes or dumping onto a pod. It is like thowing out a childhood toy or closing a chapter on the past. mine mine mine.
