Passive biamping is easily achieved with any speaker having HF and LF terminals. With amps having the same sensitivity, all that's needed to split the signal is a Y-connector on the preamp out. If the sensitivity differs, you just need to add resistance.

It would probably be a lot cheaper than Maggie box, and could be of higher quality. For example if the Maggie box uses a potentiometer it would degrade the signal compared to a good Y-connector, a simple resistor load or a higher quality attenuator.
