"The Transparent Opus MM cables are not simply cables, and thus not eligible."
if Mr. Randi was commenting on one of his applicants backtracking like this i wonder how gentle he would be. Mr. Randi has a responsibility to do the proper research before he shoots from the hip on cable performance.
It seems Mike Lavigne has been in contact with Randi, presumably offering to enter the challenge as he has indicated here, and that Randi has rejected usage of Transparent Opus MM, the same cable mentioned in the ultimatum to Fremer, because "The Transparent Opus MM cables are not simply cables, and thus not eligible."
