They were amazing in their day...

...I walked into the Federated Store in Huntington Beach in about 1977 to hear the new Ohm F loudspeakers.

Next to them were DQ-10s playing some Latin percussion music. The sound was coming from behind and in-between the speakers with the instruments suspended there in space. I'd never heard anything like it before. I had to have them.

I ended up bi-amping them with Quatre Gain Cells, buying the first DQ-LP1 electronic crossover Havens and Hardesty (yes, Richard Hardesty's old store) got in along with a pair of Dahlquist subs.

They rocked.
