I know a company that runs a system with duplicate hot swappable controllers, power supplies, fans, and a mirrored 7 drive automatic failover hot swappable array. That may sound like overkill but that whole thing is then duplicated so there are 28 drives running. That system is just for the end user interface and catalog information, the real data is on an IBM mainframe. You wouldn't want to pay their electric bill.If you added multi-homed fiber and a backup satellite, how much would you have to charge for a yo-yo?
