It was you who had the misunderstanding, not me. It was you who launched a personal attack as a result of that misunderstanding, not me. It was you who continued it, despite me telling you that your belief was incorrect.

When it finally dawned on you that you were in the wrong, you offered an obviously grudging, conditional, and altogether insincere apology. And now you're telling me to "act like a grown up."

Perhaps you ought to take your own advice. Admit your error like a man, and offer a real apology. That would be the "grown up" way to move on.
