If Welborne Labs is organized as a sole proprietorship, my understanding is that the "trade name" of the business is to be registered with the Colorado Department of Revenue (which is then recorded and searchable through the Colorado Secretary of State's Office). In this scenarion there would be no requirement to otherwise register with the Sec. of State.There is no trade name registered in Colorado which includes "Welborne."
What does any of this mean? Probably not much other than it further evidences a decidedly non-professional approach to doing business.
