Anti-histimines such as Benedryl(diphenhydramine) is also the sleep-inducing ingredient in Tylonol PM. Decongestants like Sudafed
also contribute to the annoying 'ringing'. They may actually seem
to help temporarily(sudafed) but the temporary dialtion goes away
and causes a rebound effect. I cut down on both the anti-hist's and decongest's, taking 1/2 a pill only when very much needed
and there was a definite reduction in the tinnutus. There are also
some herbal remedies on sites like iherb.com that have also helped.
