Lower CD Prices To Entice More Buyers?

Unsure what the current rate of production is for CD titles. With the current state of CD sales, I really cannot see how it could hurt to lower prices at least a bit. Because sales are slower than what they use to be, I believe there are plenty of folks utilizing CDs as their main resource for music.

BTW, ever notice that an SACD with THREE tracks basically doesn't cost but a dollar or so more than the CD on a store shelf?? I really don't understand why that is.

Your thoughts are appreciated. TIA!!
