Interesting. I bought a voltage tester and a bunch of other current measuring things in a kit at home despot during the ordeal. I have a pretty solid 125 volts. It doesn't even seem to waver! But, maybe I'm not catching it..
The second one didn't go into protection, though. It just never had a right channel. BUT.. my NAD went into protection the first time I powered it up here. The 640aV2 is a replacement for it!!

My NAD 7140 doesn't sweat it, though. My "pro" amp for my DJ setup has no problem, either.
It could be CAT5, but then it seems as though I shouldn't go with Cambridge Audio.
