your pictures manifest an Ansel Adams-like level of experience.

My initial effort produced shots that were so dark that literally nothing was recognizable in any of the frames. I was amazed how even the simplest of digital software was able to save all of the pictures from the Recycle Bin, producing results that were quite acceptable, a feat unattainable with film.
