I heard some rumblings about a transport, but much more in play was expensive-DAC/Class B rating, which "one" of the principles credited for most of their problems getting a market foothold.

Regardless ... it is a stark fact of audio life that a great product is no guarantee of success, and a poor one, no assurance of failure.

Audiophiles are as spooky as antelope and at the first hint of controversy, they are over the hill with their litle white tails flicking.

All one had to do was to listen to the Timbre to get the story. Great piece.
