...the current fashionable thing to do when selling an upper level home these days is to have it 'staged'.
The stager comes in and redecorates, moves most of your furniture out and replaces some of it with rented stuff.
The rooms are very sparsely furnished and what's there looks cold and impersonal.
The idea is to emphasize the size of the rooms and to make it easier for potential buyers to visualize their own things there.
I wouldn't let her touch my music room and 'staged' it myself.
