This has been the first year that I visited this show, and initially I prefers the Frankfurt show at the Kempinski hotel, I think that at the MOC of munich all is more coold at Frankfurt you have the illusion that you are at home, but at Munich there are not properly said room, they are rooms but with walls made with glass.
Also many brands that are at the show are there in silence, is a very good policy, nothing that is in silence sounds bad, but can look nice.
The first day is only for pros, sorry so many dealers and distributors??? hummm....
I donīt wantto say if this brand sound bad-FOR ME- because I have a great respect for every brand and because I know by experience, that this is a subjective game, and what can be good for me can be only regular or bad for others, then please read this report as my subjective point of view, a humble opinion about what I heard.
ASR was with audiodata and playing LP, well in Germany there is a madness for the LP, and I understand this in the 90īs, when the electronics and speakers from this country were , sorry again , for me dry and cool, but today they sound very well, and I think that can be displayed with CDīs. For me the musix was sweet, organic, but not a lot transparent, fast nor with a lot of dynamics, I repeat my audition at the end of the day and the things were a little better, but not as good as the TAS says. I was talking with the distributor of ASR in our country and he explained that ASR donīt sell well in Germany, and the sales are mostly at the USA,well done.
A surprise was Magneplanar 20.1 with one Hegel CD player and Jeff Rowland preaamp and amp,well there were not all the bass that I want, but the people enjoyed a great sound, and I must to say for relative a few dollars.
Aestethix preamp(juno) with Pathos mono amps and sonics speakers(ex audio physics) good sound but not exceptional.
Ascendo with CAT electronics and AA, I heard this system with thow differents speakers models, one I think was C8, and always sound very very good.
Kharma exquisite wit Wawac and esoteric, well I should to say that I prefers the sound that I heard at the 2006 CES with Mini, MBL preamp and digital front and Kharma amps, and itīs the second time that I heard WAwac and that they donīt say nothing special.
Leben, what have this brand to sound so good in relation to their price?
Jadis Audioplan, well sweet sound , musical but also a little dark, and I will define, sorry again, this sound as old sound, 80ī90īs.
Brinkman , metronome, Litophon, good sound, Brinkman is a brand that I think that deserves more attention from us the audiophiles, but.....I think that we are , lately, hearing more brands with good marketing than with good sound.
Ayon were using 6C33, and the sound was very good, but sorry for me many things of this brand looks as a copy of Mastersound, but a lot more expensive.
Avalon Indra, Pass 600.5 and Bladelius, good sound, itīs difficult that Avalon sound bad, it seems, at least for me , that itīs the best or one of the best speakers made with the ceramics drivers, that each day I enjoy them less.
Reymio,well te sound was not bad but not good, i was a little dissapointed , perhpas the room?, the small speakers?...
Audionet room sounds very well, is a brand to hear with more attention.

And finally the best , for me, IMHO were:
MBL, head and shoulders above the others, donīt ask me if the amps alone sounds well, or the digital front alone is good, but as a system is the best.
SOULUTION: this brand has a electronics at least as good as FM acoustics, Boulder , MBL ...is the second time that I heard this brand and is as the silk
Vitus audio, were at the show in a small room witha speaker brand fro the Greece, sweet, fast, transparent organic, as if you were hearing the best tubes but with SS.
Behold with Ascendo, for the first time I heard this sytem sounding very well, I donīt know the prices but the sound was very good.
Dissapointing fact: that small brands that sound incredibles, as can be Horch, Tidal or Gruensch arenīt at the show, but for what to be there if they donīt want to export and sells all what they can do.
