This hobby is supposed to be fun. There really aren't any rules that define how you are supposed to enjoy your music.

I generally like to listen to music in the configuration that it was mastered (other than mono, which my system does not support). I find that my HT system gives me all the flexibility I need. Sometimes, I like to hear stereo-mastered sound in various, synthesized, surround formats, but generally I stick with the analog pass-thru for my vinyl.

If I had the option, I would probably have a dedicated two-channel, all-analog system as well.
