After owning speakers from many generations of designers and of differing designs, I have come to the conclusion that to expect anything like perfection from any of them is a lesson in frustration.
I now own three pair of speakers and enjoy the hell out of swapping them out, regularly, and rejoicing in their different qualities.
None is "better."
I hear vocals better with one pair, low bass is more accurate with another, and highs are silkier with the third.
No, I'm not a dealer nor do I dedicate an enormous amount of funds to this hobby: all speakers are vintage.
All of us are, of course, different but I think this path may prove fruitful for others.
Need I mention that the major differences between them far outweigh the differences from swapping out any electronic component?
