Maybe I should have said "refinement" instead of resolution. I'm glad to hear that the NAD and Spendor sound good together. Obviously the NAD isn't the last word in amplification, but when I needed a working amp in a hurry without having a lot of cash on hand, I found to my surprise that it made more compelling music than a number of amps costing twice as much (Creek, Arcam, Sim i-3). Right now new speakers are a priority; if the NAD can handle the Spendors, I can always move to a better amp later when I have a bit more to spend.Thanks for your feedback.
