High End Audio - Currently slow????

Audio is a winter hobby for me, and I assume the majority of folks out there. But it has seemed to me that things have been really slow this year ( winter). Things I have sold, have not had the usual frenzied responses. Things I have bought, were easy scores. Even the forums have seemed to lack a lot of fresh energy and enthusiasm. For the most part, all aspects have been more like when I occasionally check in during the summer months.
Anyone else notice? Or is it just me?
