I have to give props to my local dealers in Boston and Cambridge:Spearit Sound on Comm. Ave. I can't speak for their NorthHampton location.
QAudio around the corner from Mass. Ave. near MIT.
In Your Ear record store, which sells cool used audio geer at reasonable prices. It's mostly mid-fi, but they get the occasional gem and lots of vintage.
Audio Lab in Harvard SQ knows turntables.
I had good service from Saturday Audio Exchange in Chigago on a mail order item, too.
