BTW, the Power Wings appear in many CES/THE show reports. Only the Finite Elemente racks appear more frequently. With so many Wings at the shows, no wonder you gotta make a new batch. Your poor Cable Cooker must be working overtime.
I was most fortunate having such great coverage....so many manufacturers get overlooked unintentionally (these shows can be a madhouse), and some reviewers & writers only report what specifically interests them. And most reviewers and writers wholly ignore what they consider "accessories"....and that includes cabling and line conditioning. The PFO crew are certainly the exception, and I thank them profusely. Too many cable manufacturers (unless the room is sponsored by a particular cable company), never even get a mention. So again, I was most fortunate.
I heard an anecdote via Joe Cohen of PranaWire, describing his conversation with Jonathan Halpern of Tone Imports (the very fine Shindo, Auditorium, etc.). Jonathan had some reviewers in his room at the St. Tropez this year, and all they could comment on were the speakers (the terrific DeVore Super 8's). He told Joe after this incident that he wished he had briefly disconnected some cabling, then asked the reviewers "how do you like the system now?"
'Nuff said.
