Good for us dumpster divers! I'm thinking of writing reviews of TAFKA Steve's worst audio equipment purchases, starting with my Garrard Zero 100C which would activate its arm return while the stylus was still on the record, thus destroying my stylus and any albums I tried to play on it. Any albums that escaped this fate by manual cueing were destroyed by the dust cover slipping off its "hinge locks" and crashing downward on my valuable vinyl. I know about the mod article at TNT Audio and I can only conclude that after surviving two World Wars on home soil in this century, the Europeans have a much greater tolerance for disasters than us Yanks.
