differing reviews made of what seem to be the same product by a single semi-major online review site.I apologize forehand for the somewhat negative/petty gist of this post/request, but as two of the magazine editors of this online magazine have "blown me off" in my queries regarding the contradictory reviews posted I'm hoping that they will respond to multiple emails. I emailed my first query approx. 2 months ago and the second one perhaps 1 month ago (not a peep/reply form either editor).
The contradictory reviews of the Castle Pembroke speaker are posted @ Hifichoice.co.uk/ (AKA HiFi Choice).
The first/original review of the Castle Pembroke (page 7/8 of the current review section) gives it a stellar 5 star (out of 5 star total) review with much praise.
The second/latest review of the Castle Pembroke (page 1/8 in the current loudspeaker review section) gives it a 3 star (out of 5 star total) review along with a number of negative comments within the review copy.
Had I received a simple explanation, from the editorial staff @ HiFi Choice, as to why the two reviews contradict one another, I would have let it go. Can think of a few reasons as to why this might be, though they would still suggest that the editorial staff needs to shake the sand out of their eyes, but as they failed to respond to simple/polite inquiries (both were so tame as to cramp my style) it's been eating @ me.
I used to enjoy reading reviews @ the site (especially prior to them reorganizing) as they, the reviews, were then more in depth, but not since this.
Most of us read online magazine reviews, right?
The following "click on" link is to the second/latest review and the first Pembroke review is @ the following address (or go to page 7 of 8 of the current loudspeaker reviews).
