Yes, I agree with you there. I have heard a relatively modest system produce a soundstage that went FAR beyond the walls of the room. The room was simply not there. Can't disagree more. I think that a good two-channel system will still provide the best sound, IF the recording is done properly (NO MULTI-MIKING!!), and if it is set-up properly.Just my $0.02, YMMV :-)
