This is the first time that i call a manufacturer just to say how wonderful the product is......
Stereophile is right!!!!!
I bought a Harman Kardon DVD101 from CC as a transport.... It's fantastic....
I can spend 10k and cannot get too much better at all!!!
I used to have one SA-1 and it was mod by myself for $2000.. It's not much better!!! Sa-1 is a wrong player for me I guess...(mushy sound)
I am waiting for my Trivista player...will see what happen...
This DAC does not need any breakin... i found no changes in sound quality for the first two hours...(Benchmark agrees) Its transformer is still hot.. I always found that transformer will get cooler after breakin though...
This is definitely high end without frills and gimmicks... Bravo.... I like it beeter than MF A324 which I bought and sold for three times!!! the last time I bought the DAC, I didn't even open its box before I sold that babe(because I ordered the Trivista the next week.

First do no harms!!!
clarity, dynamic and details are very good to excellent plus a touch of sweetness that does no harms.... I know I can get something sweeter or more velvety, but that always comes with some trade off here and there.. "As always, First do no harms."
It has a uniseptately stable, mature and certain feelings... Yes, I am trying to say that it expresses confidence!!
And the sound is saturated too... It's neither smearing nor stretching!!! Subtle hues are back again....
I put the the input jumper to coax only and it does sound better!!
