Unfortunately, with Denon, the quality has dropped dramatically. I am a pro audio dealer, and Denon quality is not what it once was. We no longer really sell the Denon equipment; only when directly asked. You can bet money that every CD and cassette player will shoot craps within the warranty period. A little different scenario than consumer audio. We have to go out and pull the gear, send it Denon because it is under warranty, and then go back and reinstall the equipment. Major headache and money waster.OTOH, we recently picked-up the Marantz pro line. Very nice stuff, great pricing, and so far no field problems. This line of equipment seems very promising for the future.
