I did try some "unlistenable" recordings last night. (Amongst them Borodin's "Prince Igor" by Fiedler and the Boston Pops.) Most of them were actually "bearable" for the first time in my recollections. It's like bad recordings are maybe not so bad...Rarely have I ever had an "across-the-board" improvement in sound, where the change was *both* more-resolute and more-musical. Even though these things do have the appearance of "audio jewelry," I personally did not expect such a big sonic improvement.
Or let me put it this way. I am **definitely** going to buy more sets of these connectors. (Not right away, but about a month or two from now.) Call me crazy if you wish. I admit I felt a little strange posting this review... until I fired up the system again afterward. (I was up 'til 5 in the morning today!! OUCH!! I have to work today.) In the long run, I think I will end up spending **less** money on audio equipment because I think my urge to try new equipment will be quenched. (The amps in both of my systems have already had such an impact, to a degree.)
