They are essentially the same car with different names. Oh, and yes, Ford did sell at least a couple of Mustangs over the years carrying the Cobra badge, but they weren't the same as original 1960's 289 and 427 Cobra's that thrashed many a Corvette when I was younger.Re-badging of automobiles generally refers to differences in international models, and since you seem to not be able to accept the fact that Lexus is a marketing arm of Toyota, I can't carry on an intelligent conversation on the subject with you.
Damn, how did a fine example of possible situations in the Korsun/Levinson debate get this far into Toyota and their Lexus-badged cars?
Sometimes I think I put to much effort into reversing ignorance about the obvious.
