Then after such a statement he has the nerve to say:
"(sigh) don't you know it's the height of rudeess to attempt tp put words into another person's mouth?"
I don't think that R B was putting words into his mouth, it's blatanly obvious what he said. Either he is truly dumb and ingnorant of what he ACTUALLY says, or maybe it's just a case of Jekyll and Hyde.
