Definition of Irony

It seems that once again, I have managed to defeat the collective intelligence of AA's Brains-Trust.

For those of you who really didn't get the point of my post, here is a definition from Webster's for you:

I·ro·ny (r-n, r-)
n. pl. i·ro·nies

The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect.

Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs: “Hyde noted the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hated” (Richard Kain).
An occurrence, result, or circumstance notable for such incongruity. See Usage Note at ironic.
Dramatic irony.
Socratic irony.

My comments on the Korsun were entirely ironic in intent ad were meant merely to poke fun at those who are kicking up such a fuss over this amp (see my previous posts on this subject if you doubt my true position). I guess that passed a few of you by. Sorry about that.

-Joe.
