I was also a beta tester for many prototypes of dack 2.0 and I have to say it is a monstrous upgrade over the original. Dack 2.0, like version 1, is Still extremely cohesive, but now has unbelievable PRAT- it equaled my Rega TT in this regard, extension, detail, image specificity, and slam. I thought the last dack was incredible in the midrange- the best I've ever heard, but a little slow sounding and it rolled off the extensions. The new dack 2.0 addresses these problems and was equal to a Meitner Bi-Dat dac I shot it out against and better than a Musical Fidelity Tr Vista 2.1. Pretty damn fine performance for an $800 dac. IMO, this is a classic product.Michael
