Re: What's yer recipe for the roller blocks?

205.188.208.9

After reading the posts you all have once again peaked my curiosity.
So I've started another set of roller blocks that are made somewhat different. The bodies are made of brass, and are set up to use either a flanged steel sleeve or an oilite bronze bearing as a seat for the ball. The sleeve has a 5/16 hole in it with a slight radius ontop.
The top will be in two configurations. The first will be similar to the bottom, and the secound will be set up for a ground tooling ball that has a built in post with a shoulder. The ball diameter will be 1/2", but I will be able to change to larger or smaller balls at will
(also meterial they made of)I plan on trying hard rubber, ceramic, soft steel and hard steel as well as carbide. And then there is a third set of clocks in the works that will use a layered "puck" as well as the balls.
