Re: Is 16bit/44.1KHZ dead?

I've heard alot of crappy sounding vinyl in my day. Late 60's and early 70's rock that is compressed and noisy, with a limited frequency range. The new formats, even CD when well mastered are superior in most respects to most vinyl recordings IMO. Regards, HiFi Guy
