If you only have prologic, I am guessing that you do not have a 6 channel pass=thru for hooking a dvd-a player up. Most people do not. Only a few recievers and preamps on the market do. There is almost no software. It is so early in the game that I would not buy one. Have you ever seen a first generation product that did not drop drastically in price? I have not heard DVD-A but have heard recording made at 24/96 which are exceptional however that do not have the watermark copy protection that DVD-A uses so I do not know if they will sound the same. I would say that you should buy when you see enough of your favorite artist on DVD-A recordings to justify the purchase.
