Re: Does AES/EBU always sound better?

I've done this many times but not double-blind. Single-ended always sounds more dynamic to me, and BNC sounds better than RCA. The AES/EBU hook-up may be quieter but some of the zest seems to drain out of the music. Of course, this could all be illusory but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
