Indeed, be careful Chris. While CD players with name Mark Levinson were produced by Madrigal Lab, the man Mark Levinson, to the best of my knowledge, did not produced any commercial CD Players. He does not produce nor planning in near future to produce SACD Players either. However, he is well known recording engineer and has his own label "Red Rose" which SACD sampler is available for purchase. Thus, his expressed opinions of SACD vs other digital formats are that from recording engineer prospective and I would heavily consider them. Is one or another format good to you, personally, is another matter - go and listen. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Mark Levinson is married to "Sex and the City" star, sexy Kim Cattrell... and you not.... Simon :-)
